This Privacy Policy describes how Ascendius, Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with TeamScore.io (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your team members whose information may be processed through our Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
We collect information that you provide when you register for and use the Service, including:
- Account information (such as name, email address, and password)
- Billing information (such as payment method details)
- Your company or organization information
- Information you provide when you contact our support team
1.2 Information From Connected Services
When you connect TeamScore.io to your cloud services (such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms), we collect:
- Security and audit log entries from these connected services
- Metadata about activities performed on these platforms by your team members
- User identity information necessary to associate activities with specific team members
Important: We do not collect, access, or store the content of emails, attachments, documents, or similar substantive content. Our Service is limited to collecting metadata about when and what types of activities were performed.
1.3 Usage Information
We automatically collect certain information about your use of the Service, including:
- Log data (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent)
- Device information (such as device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers)
- Performance data about how you and your team members interact with the Service

We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process and complete transactions
- Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages

Subject to our Terms of Service, only the Customer (account administrator acting as the Data Controller) may request the deletion of data. When the Customer requests deletion of your data (through the Service interface or following cancellation of the Service), we will delete or anonymize it according to our data retention policies and applicable law. Note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no security measures are 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of any credentials associated with your account and for controlling access to your account.

You may update, correct, or delete your account information at any time by logging into your account settings. If you cannot do this yourself, you may contact us for assistance.

- We act as a data processor with respect to the information we collect about your team members through connected services. Your employer (the Customer) is the data controller responsible for obtaining required consent from your team members and providing them with necessary information about how their data is processed.
- We act as a data controller with respect to the information we collect about you as our customer.
- Our legal bases for processing personal information include: (a) your consent; (b) performance of a contract with you; (c) compliance with a legal obligation; and (d) our legitimate interests, such as to provide and improve the Service, provided that these interests are not overridden by your data protection interests or fundamental rights and freedoms.
7. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and process information on servers located in the United States and potentially other countries. If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country different from your country of residence, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws different from your country.
If we transfer personal information from the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland to a country that has not been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection, we will implement appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the relevant authorities.
